Fresh drinking water is pretty important. All living things need water and going on a camping trip doesn’t make you exempt to this rule. The problem that can arise is that the water coming from the campground water supply isn’t the greatest and you’re stuck using water that doesn’t look or taste quite right. The solution to this isn’t some huge overhaul and isn’t something that will make your water taste weird. It’s just a simple filter, just like the one on your refrigerator water spout. With a water filter in your RV’s fresh water system, you can have clean drinking water no matter where you are.

This set of (2 or 4) water filters is designed with RV and marine travel in mind. Each filter has a large capacity of 1056 gallons, with the large body leading to an increased flow of water. The carbon filter clears the water of a variety of minerals and elements and keeps the water clean, all while protecting it from bacteria growth while in storage. BPA-free, it’s safe for your water system and helps you keep your water clean. When installing it, make sure to flush it before using and to always install it between the flexible hoses with the water flowing in the direction of the arrows. In storage, keep it in a cool place and protect it from freezing. Keep in mind that it is unsafe to use any kind of antifreeze on it to winterize it. It operates in temperatures ranging from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. As a note, do not use this filter or get your water from areas where the water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, as there are certain bacteria and materials that are not able to be processed by the filters and can cause harm.

To have fresh water while camping, don’t forget to install a water filter to your RV’s fresh water system. Have any questions? Contact us online or call our friendly Customer Care team today!
